GAH! I'm so excited you're having a baby! I cannot tell you. How do you feel about tiny stuffed gingham horses with lots of yarn hair? Because I feel like making some tiny horses for some babies I know. :)
Brett grew up in Englewood, Colorado where he spent his time playing football, basketball, lacrosse, the tuba, singing, and yes, doing some theater. He had no idea what to study in college, but he wanted to play sports, so he ended up at Whittier College playing football and lacrosse for the mighty Poets for a year. After much thought, he decided to go on a mission. He served 4 months in the Massachussetts-Boston mission learning to nod his head and smile while teaching mostly Cambodian families. Ultimately he served in the Spain-Bilbao mission where he learned much humility, and love for the Spanish culture. Upon arriving home, he finished his associates degree, then went on to graduate from Brigham Young University. Since then, Brett has lived in Boston, Salt Lake City, Chicago, and now in Peoria, IL. He is the Regional Director of a thriving hearing aid practice where he loves to help his patients to hear to the best of their ability. He is amazed daily that his beautiful wife decided to choose him and to move to Peoria. He loves to spoil her every moment he can, because after all, she deserves it!
Cindy
Cindy grew up in Apple Valley, California where she spent her time singing, dancing, and playing the piano. She obtained her B.S. in Education from from Brigham Young University, and Masters of Education from Southern Utah University, along with her National Board Teaching Certification. She spent 8 years teaching in Pleasant Grove, Utah, then married her honey and moved to Peoria, Illinois. Cindy is now in her 11th year of teaching. She loves teaching 2nd grade, loves being so close to Nauvoo, and especially loves being married to Brett!
